What are today’s walkers really looking for? Not just a route to follow, but a different way to discover a region, connect with local communities, and experience travel with greater awareness. This is the starting point for “Walking in Veneto, keeping pace with the times: new forms of coexistence between culture, innovation, and beauty.”
At the heart of the event are Veneto’s walking routes and their ability to meet the needs of modern travelers—who are increasingly searching for authentic, sustainable experiences that foster a deep connection with the places they pass through and experience.
During the session, four of Veneto’s walking routes will be presented through the eyes of those working daily to enhance them. Among them is Romea Strata, presented by Project Developer Viola Gaudiano.
It will be an opportunity to look at walking not merely as a form of slow tourism, but as an ever-evolving experience where culture, innovation, hospitality, and local beauty can come together while remaining rooted in regional identity.
The gathering will also provide a space to explore how the modern walker has evolved, what they seek along the trail today, and what a journey leaves behind long after returning home.
To attend the event, registration is required.
