Regional day of Veneto walking routes: the first edition in Venice

A walking route is not just an itinerary to follow. It is a way to discover a region, connect with local communities, and experience heritage through a different, slower, and more conscious sense of time.

It is from this perspective that the first Regional Day of Veneto Walking Routes was born, scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, in Venice, promoted by the Veneto Region – Department of Tourism and Territorial Marketing, in collaboration with UNPLI Veneto.

A day dedicated to walking routes as a new form of tourism experience and to their ability to connect territories, landscapes, culture, and communities, meeting the needs of travelers who are increasingly focused on sustainability and the authenticity of the places they cross.

During the event, Romea Strata will also share its contribution thanks to the participation of Aleksandra Grbic (coordinator) and Viola Gaudiano (project developer).

An opportunity to reflect together on the future of slow tourism and the role that walking routes can play in enhancing local identity and creating new connections between those who travel through these lands and those who live there.

Where: Palazzo Grandi Stazioni – Multipurpose Room, Venice
