A sunday for little explorers
Looking to spend a Sunday afternoon a little differently with your kids? On Sunday, September 13th, Nonantola is hosting a fun-filled adventure packed with riddles, hidden clues, and team challenges for the whole family.
The historic town center and the Museum of Nonantola will transform into an open-air playground for a special treasure hunt designed for kids aged 7 to 11 and their parents.
By piecing together the clues, your young explorers will get to uncover Nonantola’s rich history through hands-on fun—discovering fascinating stories, symbols, and landmarks along ancient pilgrimage routes like the Romea Strata and Via Romea Nonantolana.
It’s proof that learning history can actually be exciting when you get to search, play, observe, and stay curious. Best of all, for once, the kids will be the ones taking the lead and guiding the rest of the family through town!
After cracking the final puzzle, everyone can celebrate and wind down with a group snack.
Join us on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Museum of Nonantola (Via del Macello). The event is completely free, but space is limited—please reserve your spot by emailing museo@comune.nonantola.mo.it
