Pilgrimage Promotional Tour

The Pilgrimage Promotional Tour is a major travelling event designed to showcase and promote the Romea Strata, the ancient pilgrimage route that crosses Europe from north to south. Each year, this tour guides pilgrims along a different section of the path, fostering a slow and authentic discovery of the territory, spirituality, and local culture. Created with the aim of rediscovering and uniting the seven countries traversed by the Romea Strata, the tour has already journeyed through Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Italy. It has engaged local communities, institutions, and wayfarers in a unique shared walking experience. The ultimate goal is to retrace the entire Romea Strata route from Tallinn to Rome, just as ancient pilgrims did. After the Jubilee of 2025, the intention is to complete the tour through the Baltic Republics – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania – thus fulfilling a journey that is simultaneously historical, spiritual, and promotional.
