Cammini d’Italia is an Italian community founded in 2017 to promote a culture of walking, trekking and slow travel. It offers digital tools for planning and completing routes, online/offline interactive maps, and a platform that encourages sharing experiences. Through daily content, blogs, social media and a dedicated app, it supports thousands of walkers in discovering Italy on foot.
Cammini d’Italia: a friendship built while walking
Cammini d'Italia is not just a collaboration: it is a bond that has been built step by step, on the roads, in the villages, among the people. For years we have shared the same vision: believing in slow, sustainable tourism that truly enhances the areas it passes through.
Together, we have organised two press tours along the Romea Vicetia and Romea Nonantolana Longobarda routes, which have resulted in two documentary films that show, without filters, what it really means to walk the Romea Strata.
We organised two free events, one along the stage from Bassano Romano to Sutri with over 300 participants and one in the areas between Rovereto, Trambileno and Vallarsa with about 150 people, authentic moments of community, sharing and discovery.
Cammini d'Italia also joined us on stage on several occasions to share their experience and present the new official guide to the Romea Strata.
It is a collaboration that works because it is based on mutual respect, trust and friendship. We are confident that this is only the beginning of many other wonderful things to do together.
