Jubilee 2025
towards the holy door
December 24, 2024 – January 6, 2026
Jubilee 2025 | Pilgrims of Hope
The Jubilee 2025 represents a unique opportunity to live an experience of faith, spirituality. A year dedicated to hope and inner journey, in which pilgrims can cross the Holy Door, receive the plenary indulgence, and participate in the Holy Year celebrations in the heart of Rome.
Participation is open to everyone: believers, wayfarers, youth, families, and anyone wishing to rediscover the profound meaning of pilgrimage. The Romea Strata, an ancient route, guides you towards St. Peter’s Basilica, offering you an authentic journey, rich in spiritual stages and places of silence.

Become a volunteer for Jubilee 2025
Do you want to be an active part of this extraordinary event? Romea Strata is looking for volunteers to welcome and assist the pilgrims who will reach Rome from all over the world. A gesture of welcome that will allow you to experience the Jubilee as a protagonist.
Miliarium: the stages of your Jubilee journey
The pilgrimage to Rome is not just a destination, but a journey rich in meaning. Along the Romea Strata, you will find 31 Miliarium (20 in Italy and 11 in Austria), symbolic and spiritual places that mark the stages of your jubilee journey.
After completing two consecutive stages, you can receive a Miliarium to apply to your pilgrim’s credential, until you reach St. Peter’s Basilica and receive the Testimonium.
