A few ideas to get you walking
Do you feel like starting to walk along the Romea Strata but don't have time to plan a route? No problem! We have selected some short, self-guided itineraries for you, so you can set off right away with all the freedom of the journey. We will provide you with the GPS tracks, including points of interest and marked accommodations, so you can choose what to see and where to stop. And if you need a hand, we'll always be here to help you. 
                                                                            Tarvisio – Gemona

We suggest three stages starting from Tarviso, which is the entry point into Italy of the main Romea Strata route.

Three days exploring the walled cities of Friuli. Fifty kilometers in which you will alternate bucolic landscapes with castles and 15th-century facades completely frescoed.
 
                                                                            Badia polesine – Nonantolana

Four stages along embankments between open countryside and ancient medieval villages. A lowland walk that will take you past ancient abbeys and castles in a history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
