On April 7, 2026, the historic Villa Pojana (Vicenza) will host a specialized workshop as part of the Interreg H.O.T. project. The event focuses on the Romea Strata walking route as a strategic driver for sustainable tourism and local cultural development in Northern Italy.
This networking event is designed for tourism stakeholders, local authorities, and associations interested in creating new economic opportunities through slow travel and pilgrimage routes.
Workshop objectives
- Enhance awareness: Exploring the potential of the Romea Strata walking trail.
- Strategic collaboration: Building local networks to generate a tangible economic impact on the territory.
Event program: April 7, 2026
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | guided walk on the Romea Strata – experience the trail firsthand with a guided walking session, highlighting the natural and historical beauty of the Veneto region.
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM | networking buffet – an informal session for participants to connect and discuss potential partnerships.
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM | technical workshop & expert keynotes
- UNESCO Heritage in Veneto: valorization opportunities with Regional Councilor Marco Zecchinato.
- From ideas to action: presentation of project results and future strategies.
- Expert Focus – marketing slow tourism: a deep dive into communication strategies with Silvia Brusaterra, Marketing Strategist & Art Director.
