Romea Strata: European projects toward cultural contamination and sustainable development
Date: 2023-05-30
European funds are a growing opportunity for the development of Romea Strata Way.
Fondazione Homo Viator is currently active in 9 EU funded programmes: Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, Interreg Italia Austria, Interreg Italia Slovenia, Interreg Italia Croatia, Interreg Central Europe, CERV, Erasmus Plus, and Creative Europe. The team added 11 embryonic ideas to its pipeline for 2023, 6 of those were developed and submitted as projects.
Projects’ development is an opportunity of cross contamination among private, public, non-profit organization, academia, local institutions, civil society organization; the broad variability builds a stimulating learning environment where new ideas and synergies are blossoming.
Within our projects, we inserted 8 pilot areas distributed along the entire itinerary from Tallinn to Rome.
The activities connected to European funds have a general positive impact in terms of networking and cross-contamination.
Fondazione Homo Viator was able to connect with new entities in Romea Strata’s countries and beyond, and this growing network will work as a common asset among AERS’ members.
