Romea Strata already marked in the Municipality of Wadowice!

On Thursday (23 November), at the request of the Municipality of Wadowice, road signs with the Romea Strata inscription appeared on part of the cycle path towards the dam and on the path towards Ponikwia.
The initiative to mark the trail was undertaken by the European Romea Strata Association, in cooperation with regional authorities and local communities. In 2019, the Council of the European Romea Strata Association (AERS) decided to include the Pedagogical University in the Association as a founding member. From then on, employees of the Institute of Geography of the Pedagogical University of Krakow (currently the Institute of Law, Economics and Administration) undertake constant cooperation and consultation with the European Romea Strata Association and the authorities of Polish municipalities in order to map and mark the trail, including, as you can see, the municipality of Wadowice. The trail is 1,283 kilometres long and leads from Wadowice to the village of Ślemień in Żywiec County.
