The Romea Strata<\/strong> has obtained certification as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe<\/strong>, a recognition that enhances its role in promoting European cultural heritage, slow tourism, and collaboration between territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate this important milestone, the official event dedicated to the itinerary’s new phase of development will be held on December 4, 2025<\/strong>, at the Cantina Ca’ Tullio in Aquileia<\/strong>. The day will bring together institutions, experts, researchers, international partners, and representatives of European cultural routes to discuss the value of walking routes as tools for cultural growth, sustainability, and territorial innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The meeting will include opportunities for discussion on the themes of the regeneration of the territories crossed, best practices <\/strong>along the Romea Strata, and prospects for European cooperation in the coming years. There will also be dedicated spaces for the media and the Romea Strata Awards<\/strong>, designed to reward those who have experienced the itinerary and contributed to its growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The event represents an opportunity to closely examine the work carried out in recent years and to discover how the Romea Strata will continue to promote sustainable and accessible cultural tourism<\/strong> along its European route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
